The Good: hotel reception staff and cleaning staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. Location of the hotel is excellent as it's withing walking distance of The Vatican Museums and St. Peter's Square. The Bad: BE AWARE of the time of year that you are travelling as this hotel has rooms that have individual A/C units that you can control and Centralized A/C that the hotel controls. Rome experienced a heat wave not seen in 70+ years in May 2026 and our room, as it was for a number of other guests, was like a sauna for the three days we stayed there! We were given many reasons for the Centralized unit not working...all absolutely unacceptable!

"The room was fine, as expected from the photos, but make sure you have locks on your bags and don’t leave your bags in the room without you there. There are no lockers in the room, the only lockers are by reception which is nice because someone is always there, but most of the locker doors are busted ..."
